Easy Homemade Spiked Eggnog

- 2 ½ cups French vanilla ice cream
- ½ - 1 oz dark rum
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg
- whip cream
- Put ice cream in a microwave safe bowl and heat in microwave for 2-3 minutes or until you reach a liquid consistency.
- Add in nutmeg and rum then stir well. Optional: refrigerate for at leas 1 hour if you want to serve the eggnog cold. Or heat mixture for another 1-2 minutes if you want to serve warm.
- Top with whip cream and additional nutmeg and serve
